  22.    It's available on the PC (as IBM PL/I for OS/2, released 1994),
  23. and for the RS/6000 (under AIX, released September 1995), while
  24. Windows 95 and Windows NT versions are in beta test, due July.
  25. Liant's Open PL/I compiler is already available
  26. under Windows NT.

  28.    PL/I is also available on many other platforms, including
  29. Data General Aviion, DEC Alpha etc, HP UX and of course,
  30. IBM mainframes.
